I participated in a few carnivals this week. Here they are!
Sunday, Paid Twice recognized my post Fighting Over Finances, along with a lot of other great posts, in her Sunday morning round up. Thanks! I also really liked Plonkee’s post on what to do after a Kiva loan is paid back… and now I’m interested in checking out Kiva!
Monday, I participated in two carnivals. First, the Carnival of Personal Finance at Being Frugal, with my post on Fighting Over Finance. This is proving to be one of my most popular posts- I should fight with my husband more often! I was also in the Carnival of Family Life, with my frugal dessert recipe. Try it, it’s yummy.
Tuesday was the Festival of Frugality, over at Paid Twice. She included the first post in my series on eating out frugally. There are a ton of great tips there; according to Paid Twice the posts on tips “outnumbered the “mindset or thinking posts” by nearly three to one.” I really liked TightFistedMiser’s post on living abroad cheaply. I had a similar experience my first year in Europe- although I spent a bit more than $450!
