I was in the Festival of Frugality at Quest for Four Pillars with my post on Frugal French Foods For Children.
I participated in the Carnival of Environmental Issues at Wiggly Wrigglers (great name) for the first time with my post on being green and frugal at the same time.
And I was also in the Carnival of Snowflaking at Foxie’s Ferrari Dream with my post on free money. Next week I’m hosting so submit your articles here!
Here is an interesting article from the Dollar Stretcher on American spending patterns over the past twenty years.
Frugal Babe talks about budget conscious ways to help the environment.
Making the Switch is an excellent article from My Daily Dollars.
The Simple Dollar has an interview with Amy Dacyczyn of The Tightwad Gazette. I only wish it were longer- I’m sure he left out a lot of stuff that I would have loved to read!
MSN Money had an article on four real jobs you can do at home which I found through a round up at Mrs Nespy’s World. I already do two of the four jobs mentioned, with my web based business and on line auctions, and I would like to increase my activity in both of these. I’m looking into the Mechanical Turk option and I’ll post a review when I have more information.
FrugalMomLA asks the question ‘Are we the richest country on earth?‘ which ties in nicely with my series on consumerism. Stayed tuned for the final post on Monday!
If you have a post that you’d like me to highlight in next week’s roundup, just leave a note in the comments or email me at kllycat at yahoo dot com.

Thanks soooo much for mentioning the interview with Amy Dacyz…? I am a big fan of hers and can’t believe I missed Trent’s interview with her! Heading over to read it right now!
Brilliant thanks for this list!
I’ve long been an earth friendly person and balk at the consumerism that exists!
I really enjoy your blog!
