I saw on simplemom that you are reading A Perfect Madness. Can't wait to see if you blog about it. I read it a while ago and enjoyed it.

Denise's last blog post..Two sets of Jones'

Hi Lucie,
Welcome to Almost Frugal! Thanks for reading and especially for commenting. I am going to steal your line 'not a financial expert or a frugal saint' because that sums me up! I needed a bit of encouragement this afternoon, and your comment did the trick.

Unfortunately I am pretty bad at saying no myself, but your three tips are very helpful! I always seem to find my self over-committed yet I haven't been able to learn from that as of yet and just tell people no before my commitments pile up.

I just found your blog from Simple Mom's page and I must say I really, really enjoy it! I live in the states (Kentucky to be exact - probably the farthest thing from France you can get!) and I am almost done with my professional degree. Having put myself through school I have a HUGE amount of student loan debt, as does my partner who is finishing his PHD. Throw in three boys and a little credit card debt and it can feel overwhelming. Having a blog to read where someone has similar problems but is not a financial expert or a frugal saint is a real pleasure!

Lucie's last blog post..Vacations
