great post! i like your idea of spending five minutes prepping tomorrow’s dinner. as an aside to “plan three meals right now” i would say that a great way to save money in five minutes is to pick five meals to make next week based on what is in your pantry and what is in season. I do this each week, then write out my grocery list. at the store, i only buy what is on the list (ingredients relevant to the meals, plus household items that have gone empty, like bleach.) We have halved our food and household spending with this technique.
