I must admit I am curious to hear how you and your husband met, the girl-moves-to-France-and-married-boy story just sounds to good to miss. I also like to hear what other people whose blogs I follow are reading, music they are into, that kind of thing.
As far as frugal stuff goes, I would like to know if blogging has proven to be worth the time it takes as compared to the money it might bring in for your family (and the enjoyment I assume you get out of it). I make no money blogging (although a girl can dream big) but I feel it's worth it because I enjoy it so much.

Do you find it difficult to balance your blog work, your family, and your school studies? I would be interested to hear about your time management skills. I could definitely use some pointers!

I'm feeling like my family is being neglected thanks to my blogging habit - and my need to keep things somewhat (and I stress somewhat) tidy and organized around here.
I just seem to have way too much I want/need to do!
So how do you do it all??

isPermaLink="false">http://almostfrugal.com/?p=1703#comment-2753

I want to hear more about striking the balance. I've found that financial diets are just as likely to end in unhealthy binges as weight-loss diets when I get too strict with myself. It's something I struggle with in general but I am especially floundering with food. The cheapest way for us to eat is if I buy only ingredients and cook all three meals a day from scratch. Then I never leave the kitchen- fix breakfast, eat breakfast, clean-up after breakfast, fix lunch, eat lunch, et cetera. So I burn out in an ugly way and the family ends up with the most expensive alternative- we eat out constantly and I don't have to do dishes. Then the budget reproaches me for my folly and I take on the compromise of convenience foods- meals that come ready made out of my freezer or pantry. I'm not in the kitchen all day, and the budget can usually bear it, but we're eating junk and our health suffers. Next I buy the higher quality convenience foods but it becomes quite apparent that I can't afford that lifestyle and I start cooking from scratch again to repair my budget. You see the vicious cycle. I would like to know more about how much time frugal food should consume- planning, prep, execution and clean-up. How do you strike a functional balance?
Thanks,
Crystal

I imagine you had an interesting time of it when you moved overseas. How 'bout some of those stories?
And I've also been captivated by J.D. and Trent's recent posts about how they have maximized their income by blogging; I suspect you have some different insights and those would be pretty intriguing.
