Of course, I can easily make a meal out of any kind of potato dish. Will definitely do them again.

Made your gratin daphinois for our Christmas lunch. I think it's fun to see 'life' in another country. A dear friend of mine travels to France every summer with her students (college) as part of an on-site learning program for their French studies. I'm going to send links to your sites to her as I think she'd really enjoy them.
Our family was host to a German exchange student for the 2006-2007 school year. We learned a lot about another countries food culture.

I usually just fry some hamburger, then throw in some frozen chopped spinach, not even thawed and some chopped tomatoes or some jarred spaghetti sauce. It's really easy, but it goes with everything and freezes really well.

@Nancy,<br

I plan our dinners weekly. Two weeks is too far ahead for me, to be honest. This week we're having herrings with potatoes, vegetable soup with Polish sausages, Kedgeree with tinned salmon, couscous with vegetables, pizza (Friday is always pizza night), tuna and potato casserole and something I haven't figured out yet on Sunday. Maybe something with spinach, I feel like spinach now after reading your list!
Greetings from Ireland!
