Business Cards and Brochures from UPrinting

by Kelly on April 13, 2009

in Giveaways

To start off our week of giveaways, this contest has not one but two prizes! UPrinting is offering 1000 business cards to one reader, and 500 brochures to another reader. If one of your ways of earning extra money is with your own small business (or blog), then this would be an excellent giveaway for you to win.

Rules

UPrinting says that you can choose from any of their stocks for these items! (And they have some great designs.) Winners in the United States and Canada qualify for free shipping. Shipping fees will apply to winners outside these areas.

Here is how to enter.

  • Leave a comment at the end of the blog post, describing what you would use the free business cards and/or brochures for and what designs you like. Make sure to also mention which you would prefer- the business cards or the brochure.
  • Tweet about the contest on Twitter, mentioning @AlmostFrugal and UPrinting and including a link to this post.
  • Subscribe to my feed (one time only please!) by RSS or email and look for the special code word at the bottom of each post in the feed. Then email me at almostfrugal at gmail dot com with the special code word in the subject of the email. There’s no need to write anything in the bottom of the email, as it won’t be read.
  • Write a post about one or all of the contests, linking back to each contest you write about. No need to let me know you’ve written the post- there will be an automatic trackback to each entry.
  • Sign up for the Almost Frugal blog network or fan page (one time only please!) on Facebook. Then email me at almostfrugal at gmail dot com with your user name so that I can recognize you and record your entry.

Each contest starts at 12 noon GMT the day the post is published and each contest ends on April 21, 2009 at 12 noon GMT. The contests are open to international contestants, unless stated otherwise. Each contestant can enter mutiple contests, but may only win one of them. I reserve the right to disqualify contestants for any reason.

I would love the business cards to pass out at festivals and shows where I have a booth for my jewelry business! The brochures would be great, too, but I would prefer the cards.

Thanks!

Businees cards would be awesome, but so would brochures! I recently moved my etsy- candy store onto a real website to prepare for a mention on the Oprah Winfrey Show, and cards are on my to-do list. I will probably order from UPrinting regardless, after browsing the site! Check out my store if you have a minute:

I would love the business cards or brochures. We would use them to print a new business idea we had last weekend! Just something to earn a little extra cash.

I’d use the business cards for my husband’s new band – listing the band’s website info and then passing them out at gigs so the band can build up a following. The brochures would be great for our son who’s trying to breathe some new life into his old comic strip/graphics business.

I’ve been helping my boyfriend start an export company. I’d love to be able to give him 1000 business cards with the logo I designed. :-)

I would prefer the business cards for my blog but the brochures would work for my new Front Porch Designs shop too!

I’d likely upload my own designs, I really like the holiday line of business cards, especially the colorful springy ones! They so cute!!!!

I would use them to add to the back of my matted artwork. Their selection is great and very unique. It would add another level of professionalism to the things I have created.

I would upload one of the art pieces I have created to use on the cards as well. Thanks for the chance to visit a great vendor!

I think I would do business cards. I’m starting a few side businesses and am not really sure which direction they will go. So, I would just get some very nice ones designed (by your’s truly) that don’t specify a line of business and hand them out to the many contacts I make. Or, conversely, I could use it as a wedding present to my sister who has a very nice side business as a jewelry maker. She is getting married and I am the maid of honor so it’s really wiping out my expenses. It would be nice to give her something that she would use and appreciate while not breaking the bank!

I would love to be entered in the drawing for the business cards. Even if I don’t win I am thrilled to learn of this great offer because I was *just* thinking that I needed to get some cards for a new business venture and I wasn’t looking forward to doing the “research” on which company to choose. In any event, I would like to reward the company’s generosity by placing an order with them. Definitely a win-win! Thanks so much!

I would choose business cards with the Celebration Cakes design, because my 15 year old son is starting a cake decorating business!
