What a perfect summer dessert! Frozen strawberry cream, on an oreo cookie crust, with sliced strawberries on top.
- 4 cups fresh strawberries, divided
- 1 can sweetened condensed milk
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 3 cups fresh whipped cream (it’s easier than you think to whip cream!)
- 1 cup oreos, crushed
- 2 tsps melted butter
Line a bread pan with plastic wrap. Mash two cups of the strawberries, mix with the lemon juice and condensed milk, then gently fold in 2 cups of whipped cream. Pour into the pan, then top with the cookies and butter mixed together. Freeze at least 6 hours. To serve, invert onto a plate, slice and serve with the remaining sliced strawberries and whipped cream. Adapted from a CoolWhip recipe found in Family Circle.
