I know, call me crazy! All the excess gets thrown away, given away, donated away. Cleaning an empty house is so much easier than a full house. So I clean the new place from top to bottom and when the old place is empty, I clean that one from top to bottom and leave. What a way to Spring clean. While I dont mind moving often ( my husband was military for years), I wouldnt like to do it every Spring. I look at it as an opportunity to get my whole life organized. I love to move!! I love de-junking! I tend to disagree, though, with buying lots of storage bins or boxes, as it will inevitably invite more stuff into your life. If you box something up and find yourself not using or even thinking about for a number of months, then you can safely get rid of those things without worrying about missing them.
