I update the checkbook each time I use it so there are no overdraft fees. The atm at the bank is free to use. Most counties have at least one bank with a free checking account. It&#039;s worth shopping around before choosing a bank.

I find this stat very interesting:

Those are all fees that one shouldn&#039;t ever have to pay if they are managing their money responsibly but I guess a prepaid card could force one to manage their money better which is a good thing.
