My husband has been putting all his Army paperwork (he's in the reserves) and all of his contract work files on a hard drive for me to have easy access while he's deployed again. It can be frustrating looking in different folders when all you want is to find ONE paper. Thanks for the great info! @kaci, that’s a really good idea about putting everything on a hard drive. Everything goes on the scanner and stored on an external hard drive. With 2 terabyte hard drives less than $150, there is no reason I couldn't keep a lifetimes worth of documents.
