I’m writing this from my grandparents’ house in California. I’ve been here, along with my daughter, brother and mother, for nearly a week now. It’s been really nice to see my grandmother, especially, and to get to spend time with my family.
As on all of my trips to the US, I’ve been stocking up on some things here that you just can’t find in France, like mac n cheese, or that are much less expensive here than there: clothes, especially. But the main point of this trip is not to go shopping- I’m just happy to be here.
What are you most grateful for at the moment?

Hi Kelly, welcome to California. If you’re in the southern part, you’re in for a treat.
The weather’s going to be in the 70’s. I’ll be going for about a 50 mile bike ride down Whittier Blvd. I start in Orange County and ride all the way to downtown LA. It is a total blast.
Enjoy this beautiful day.
I’m grateful that I get to live in California all the time! Well at least for the next year anyway 🙂
ha! I just got home from visiting San Diego. I’m grateful that we had a great time and safe travels. Hope the same for you!!
I am grateful for warmer days ahead, and free time to spend outdoors with my husband and 7 year old daughter. My goal for this spring and summer is to live in the world, not just stay connected to it with electronic devices! 😉
Right now I’m most grateful to be employed, with a roof over my head and food in my stomach. Live is pretty good 🙂
It’s Carnival time in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and most of people are having holidays from last saturday till tomorrow. I am glad to enjoy the city and have plenty of time just for me. Thanks God I will have the rest of the week off work, so I plan to enjoy the beaches and some outdoor activities.
Regards!
I’m thankful for my health, the health of my loved ones, my stability and safety, the stability and safety of my loved ones, and most of all, I’m grateful that everyday I am able to feel hope.
Corny, I know. But true. 🙂
Certainly my children, but also for the sheer amount of love and opportunity I encounter every day. When I think about the crisis my family encountered a few short years ago, and the outpouring of support we received that enabled us to get back on our feet, I am even more grateful for the people and things in my life.
