Cook.Eat.Think makes a creamy potato kale soup. Kale is one of those vegetables that I know is good for you, but I just can’t ever make myself buy because I don’t know how I’ll cook it. Problem solved.
These potatoes from Jess Cooks look really good. I love roasted potatoes, and the smashing is a nice step! I might go one further and add crumbled bacon. I love her directions, and the step by step photos are beautiful. Well worth a visit.
Lisa from Lisa’s Cookbook has a recipe for potato zucchini gratin. We had a potato zucchini tart last night for dinner, and today at lunch for leftovers and I love the combination. The Cheddar is a nice touch.
Here’s a recipe for homemade maple ’syrup’. I don’t like feeding my kids the fake stuff either. Unfortunately, the ingredients she uses aren’t available here, so I’ll just keep giving them honey butter for their pancakes.
